Another Cute Elephant

The weather has started to finally start behaving here in Iowa.  The humidity has definitely gone down and has made the temperatures much more bearable. Next week we head to Minnesota way up north.  It is supposed to be much cooler up there.  I am kinda ready after these 100+ degree days.

Last week I made a card with the adorable Little Elephant set.  Today I made another card using the same stamp set and pretty much the same colors. I just changed the layout.  That is one of the wonderful things about stamping.  You can use the same stamp set but make a totally different looking card.

Hope you enjoyed today's card and Happy Stamping.

Baby Time

Blogging today from the sunny state of Iowa.  It seems like, with summer, the days are slipping away.  Which makes me sad as I know that means Winter is right around the corner.

Today I worked on making baby cards.  I LOVE Stampin' Up!s new Soft Sea Foam Green.  It is so soft and pretty.  Kinda reminds me of Certainly Celery (if you remember back a few years).  This is a great color to make those neutral gender baby cards. This last time my daughter had her baby she didn't find out what the sex was and I LOVED it. It was so exciting to find out what SHE  was when she was born.  In fact, a few of my daughter's friends are not finding out the sex so this would make a great card for when invited to the shower.  Hope you enjoy and Happy Stamping!!!

Sympathy

Today I am blogging from the balmy state of Iowa.  Man, it has been hot here.  We had snow in April and went straight to summer.  I think Mother Nature forgot Spring.  It makes me sad as Spring is my favorite time of the year.  Love seeing all the new grass and watching the trees get their new buds.  But we can't control Mother Nature so I will take what we get.

Today I used the new set,  Natures Roots.  It is such a lovely card and you can use it for masculine cards, birthday cards, or as I did here sympathy cards.  Don't ask me why I used Poppy Parade for a sympathy card but I just felt it went really well with the Crumb Cake.  What do you think?
