Merry Christmas!

Today I am actually blogging from my home.  I honestly can't remember the last time I was able to sit in my home and actually blog.  During the winter months, I am hoping to be able to blog from here a little bit more.  I will still be traveling as I am heading to Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Texas all before January.  Geez, I am tired already just thinking about it lol.

Today we have a very simple Christmas card.  Nothing fancy but definitely gives it the wow factor with that awesome snowflake die cut.  Used the stitched framelits and that is it.  Quick and easy Christmas card when you need to make lots to send to friends and family.

Sorry about missing last week.  I was in Lake Geneva at a craft weekend.  The internet was not so great and I didn't get a chance to blog before I left as I had been so busy getting ready.  Who knew it took 4 days to pack for one weekend.  We had a van packed.  No seats up and we were packed to the gills.  Just two of us.  I probably didn't use a fourth of what I took but... if I didn't take it and was working on a card I would have kicked myself.

This weeks card is made with washi tape. I took a white piece of paper but to 5 x 3 3/4 and   I just used the tape to make the background.  So easy.  I lined up the tape next to each other at a diagonal. Stamped a Happy Birthday, added a layer behind along with a little bling and done.

Pink layer is 5 3/4 x 4 1/4
Black layer is 5 1/8 x 3 7/8
White paper with layered washi tape is 5 x 3 3/4

A Little Stamping and Bragging!!

Blogging and bragging today from Chicago.  We came to Chicago so my husband could go the Mecum Auction.  No, he is not buying a car, lol.   Just one of those things he has always wanted to check off his bucket list. While we are here we are visiting our niece who was nominated for homecoming.  And she WON!!! WOO HOO!!  So proud of her.  So now back to the regularly scheduled card!!!

This is a quick and easy card that can be done with minimal supplies.  For the spots of color, I just punched random circles on a piece of scrap cardstock.  I used that for a stencil.  You can add more or fewer circles.  Whatever you would prefer.  As I look at the card now I almost wish I would have done just a few more.  Oh well, guess I will have to make another one.

Dusty Roads Tuesday Happy Birthday

Another card on this fall Tuesday, that is incorporating retired with the current.

I just love these colors together.  It is just so bright and cheery.  Who wouldn't want to get a birthday card like this? Check out below all the products used to make this card.

I stamped each daisy twice and punched out both flowers.  Layer the flowers so they are nice and full.  Use the little circle to stamp the middle with the So Saffron and punch out with the 1/2 inch circle punch.  I stamped the Happy Birthday in black.

Whisper White card base is 4 1/2 x 5 1/5
Bermuda Bay is 4 1/8 x 5 3/8
Whisper White is 4 x 5 1/4
